About Eytan Baer
Soon to begin his studies in event management at Johnson and Wales University, Eytan Baer has traveled extensively around the world. Born in Israel, Baer spent some of his youth in Switzerland before moving to the United States, where he became a student at St. Johnsbury Academy. Throughout his life, he has visited more than 40 countries, ranging from France and Thailand to Morocco and Greece. These sojourns have allowed him to experience various countries’ unique geographical features, landmarks, and traditions, such as mountains, ancient temples, safaris, and body flying. In one unique excursion, Eytan Baer enjoyed glacier rafting in Reykjavik, Iceland. Additionally, he has gone scuba diving in Hawaii and the Maldives and observed numerous species of underwater creatures.
Another reason that Baer enjoys traveling is that it allows him to try different cuisines. A fan of cooking, he experiments with unique recipes, including lamb and cocoa; duck with a honey glaze; and various ways to prepare his favorite fish, grouper. Eytan Baer’s international journeys have also allowed him to try hummus in Israel, papaya salad in Thailand, and modern cuisine in France.
